Make Me a Channel of your Peace
Join a Summer Small Group!
We will be offering a six-week faith sharing session starting on June 10th and running through July 15th. The group will meet for 90 minutes each Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Weather allowing, sessions will take place outdoors on the church property. Up to 10 persons may register for this program with a minimum of 6 persons for the program to take place.
The topic for faith sharing is Catholic Social Teaching for a New Era. Each participant will be provided with a booklet from RENEW International entitled, In the Light of Justice. The topics to be discussed are:
- The Common Good: A Gospel Vision for Society
- Dignity of Work and Rights of Workers in the Age of AI
- Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
- Solidarity and the Human Family
- Care for our Common Home
- Faith in Action
This program was developed based on the comments made by Pope Leo XIV upon his inaugural address reminding us “that the Church must be a bridge-building institution” and that it is the people of the Church who must listen, welcome and walk with all people by bringing the light of the Gospel everywhere.
